Reaching out to a psychologist often takes courage. So congratulations on getting this far – taking care of your health and well-being is one of the best investments you can make.
My name is Louise. I’m a licensed psychologist and specialist in psychotherapy for adults. For nine years I worked in psychiatry before opening my private practice, which gave me a strong professional foundation and broad experience with a wide range of mental health issues.
Choosing a psychologist is also about finding someone you feel comfortable with. That’s why I’ve included some videos on my site – so you can get a sense of who I am.

Physical symptoms of anxiety, overwhelming thoughts, and constant worries?
I can help you with methods to calm the anxiety in the moment, and together we will explore what lies underneath. The goal is for you to regain a greater sense of freedom.
Do you find that painful experiences from the past keep disturbing your life in the present? These may be old memories or more recent events. With EMDR therapy, I can help you process and store these experiences in a way that allows you to focus on the present and move forward.
Do you recognize self-criticism? Do you find it difficult to say no and set boundaries? Are you unsure if you truly deserve to feel good and enjoy life?
I will help you explore why this happens – and work with you to change it. My goal is to support you in building stronger self-esteem, so you can get more out of life.
In individual therapy, we work together to identify what you would like help with and how we can approach it. My methods are primarily EMDR, ISTDP, and DBT, which allow me to support you with a wide range of difficulties. Together, we focus on creating meaningful change – so you can experience greater well-being and quality of life.
I offer therapy in English and Danish, in-person or online.
